Senior AVP, Licensing recruitment
This role is an exciting profile requiring the selected candidate to think creatively for solutions that cover the complex licensing matters for a global Bank across different countries and jurisdictions! You will utilise your strong accounting, legal and tax knowledge to
- see to the licensing of newly acquired entities of the Bank as a result of MA activities
- resolve tax and regulatory matters
- manage royalty rate valuations across the operating entities applying the relief from royalty accounting methodology
- work with Senior Management, Tax, Legal and Compliance teams and external consultants on clearing the royalty rate approval
- participate in strategic projects arising from Group restructuring
- assist the COO in preparing and reviewing Board and Executive Committee meetings' papers
- work with Group Corporate Secretarial to review statutory matters
- monitor operational risk to ensure alignment with Group Risk's policies and processes
To qualify for the role, you must be a strong communicator with relevant business experience within the financial services sector or a large consulting / audit firm. You have exposure to intellectual property management, as well as licensing and accounting practices. You possess the ability to think out of the box, and have good analytical and report preparation skills.
