Senior AVP / VP – Product Control recruitment
Job Description
The Product Control Coverage includes Capital Market activities (FX, Treasury, fixed Income, equity brokerage) and Financing activities (loans, guarantee). Reporting to the Director, your specific responsibilities would include:
- Managing a team of 20-30 staff, in charge of - Accounting production, reconciliation and accounting certification for different countries
- Project user acceptance tests and change management for accounting feeding reconciliations
- BASEL 2 Risk GL reconciliation and Internal Accounting balance control
- Monthly PnL certification through reconciliation between IFRS accounting results and daily PnL, including breaks analysis and solving
The Successful Applicant
You are a confident and qualified MBA (Top Tier Business School) or Chartered Accountant (CA / CPA / ACCA) with at least 12+ years of total experience with a minimum of 6 years in Product Control experience within the Investment Banking industry. You will have excellent knowledge of Equity products and their accounting treatment with prior managerial experience. You are fully conversant with the fundamentals of Financial Controls in a banking environment and possess detailed knowledge of the Greeks and the front-to- back investment banking environment. Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent and you have a track record of being adaptable and culturally aware. Experience of working in a global environment preferable.
