Department Overview
CRO IT has an open position for a Requirements Engineer in the Myriad team with strong knowledge and experience in Market/Credit Risk IT. The person should have extensive hands-on experience in preparing documentations (business engineering standards) with expected benefits, gap analysis, use cases, models (e.g. Business Object Model) current/proposed and represent business interests in solution designing.
This role within the Myriad Delivery team (current size of ~60) in CRO-IT is for strategic implementation of next generation Data Acquisition platform across Credit Market. The candidate will work closely with BE’s, Analysts and Managers from the various risk teams (SRM, GCRM, RAR etc.) and other CRO IT teams to review requirements participate/contribute to Design, completely own the Development Requirements test strategies, manage stakeholders provide inputs to overall project plan.
Job Description
Project Lead with good financial services background and willing to work as a Senior Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer in a Techno Functional role. Exposure to Risk domain and Investment banking products are preferred.
- Strong background in software design development;
- Strong financial services domain knowledge, ideally including risk management.
- Ability to gather, clarify and apply information transmitted verbally, while exhibiting a genuine interest toward the speaker
- Ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrates command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.

- Interview and basic survey skills
- Play a BA in the assigned Myriad project. Eventually might need to lead a team of BA’s in Singapore/India.
- Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle by gathering and documenting data and related business requirements, devising solutions to enhance controls and improve efficiencies
- Work closely with business and delivery team for requirement prioritization and planning.
- Support a team of 15+ developers
- Act as Functional point of contact for the delivery QA team
- Conduct interviews, facilitations with business users on complex topics and issues
- Provide subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables at the sub-department level.
- Accountable for sign off on Functional specifications, Requirements validation
- Identify, document and communicate to stakeholders the cross application dependencies, upstream/downstream system impacts and its appropriate closure
- Ensure the business engineering standards and SDLC workbench standards are applied
- Ensure the traceability of individual requirements and adherence to the defined requirements management process.
- Requirements validations are done exhaustively before QA testing
- Participate in initiatives to improve business engineering practices and standards
- Assist in determination of staffing requirements and may select team members for business engineering function within sub-department level.
- Encompasses the envisioning of new work strategies, the actual process design activity, and the implementation of the change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree from recognized institution.
- A degree in finance or equivalent (CFA,etc..) would be preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience
- At least 4 years experience in Business Analysis / Requirements gathering.
- Should have at least 2 years of Developer background.
- Proven experience of leading a team of BEs.
- Experience of Creating various types of UML diagrams (Use cases, activity and state diagrams).
- GUI requirements analysis, screen mockup tools, walkthroughs
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Understanding of Risk methodologies like IRC, VaR etc is a must.
- Understanding of Trade types, sensitivities, surfaces, valuations is a must.
- Understanding of CRO business workflows and Risk systems are advantageous
- Excellent presentation and communication skills where candidate is expected to communicate with VP/Director levels and senior business users.
