Senior BA role with one of the top four banks in Sydney!
Our client is looking for an experienced Commodities Trading Specialist BA. Giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work for one of Australia's Leading Banking and Financial Institution. If you have experience as a BA in commodities trading (preferably on big projects) and wants to work for a leading bank, this is the role for you!
To be considered for this opportunity you must have SME level commodity business knowledge coupled with large technology project delivery track record.
The successful candidate would be a formally trained (or minimum 4 years experienced) Business Analyst, which contains all of the following skills:
- Business requirements gathering and management.
- Documentation skills
- Solution delivery lifecycle
- Testing support experience
- Ability to work without close supervision
- ("Business Case" development is a nice to have)
Our client is also looking for a candidate who has extensive experience in a traded products environment, preferably bank or a commodities house environment: To be more precise:
- Experience in one or more of the following: Interest rate derivatives, Commodities, Fixed Income, FX Options, exchange traded products (futures and options).
- Understanding of the full trade lifecycle (some or all of front office trade capture and maintenance, Risk management, Interfaces to downstream systems, Finance and Back Office processes)
The successful candidate will have experience in commodities traded products (derivatives and physical), in one or more of the following:
- Energy (oil, gas, coal)
- Metals (Base and/or precious)
- Soft (agricultural products)
- commodity futures
- Physical delivery and inventory management
Murex experience would be a bonus!
The client is based in the heart of the CBD in Sydney.
Salary is negotiable on experience and it can be contract or permanent.
