Senior Banking and Finance Lawyer recruitment
Our client is recruiting a qualified lawyer who has experience within banking and finance to join their established office and team. You should have more than five years PQE and preferably banking and finance related experience from a law firm in the UAE.
As a Banking and Finance Lawyer this is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an established practice and to work within a dynamic team. You will ideally be experienced with and comfortable handing conventional and Islamic banking with an understanding of financial products. The team is a close knit group that works collaboratively and efficiently under the mentorship of some of the most experienced partners in the market.
Your duties will include:
- Acting and advising for a majority of the Islamic finance institutions on requirements ranging from establishment and licensing through to structuring and documentation.
- Comprehensive skills on all aspects of structuring, negotiating and documenting financial transactions.
- Structuring finance and complicated trusts based products, setting up suites of products to run a structured transaction.
- Complex lending work into Europe, working with many of the major European banks.
- Real estate finance, with occasional cross over into acquisition finance, asset finance etc although these areas are mainly covered by specialists.
You will have a recognized law qualification with more than five years PQE experience in banking and finance having worked in private practice, the client will also consider those with in-house banking experience. The successful candidate must have UAE experience within Banking and Finance. Excellent tax free remuneration is on offer to attract high calibre candidates.
