Our client is a major bank with a well-established presence and strong growth commitment in the region. It is recruiting a Senior Banking Operations Policy Evangelist.
Reporting to the Group Head of Risk and Assurance for TO, you will be the internal evangelist for the Bank’s operations control practices throughout the Group, collaborating with the businesses and support functions to ensure they embrace, internalize and embed the Group-wide banking operations policies into the system, processes and controls. You will educate the Management and support policy development efforts to educate the understanding and increase their awareness and adoption of the banking operations policies. You will engage senior business decision and policy makers in order to articulate the business and risk control value of Group-wide banking operations policies, support policy makers in the understanding and adoption of banking operation controls and policies on group-wide basis, and deliver effective presentations with technical content to small and large audiences to articulate the policies.
You will have a demonstrated superior conceptual and strategic thinking, and deep understanding of banking operations, banking policies, and banking regulations. With the minimum of 15-20 years’ experience working in the financial services industry, you will enjoy sharing ideas and insights, are a good listener and has the ability to clearly explain ideas to different people with different viewpoints. With excellent verbal, written, presentation communication skills, leadership and charisma, you are able to multi-task, meet set deadlines, adapt to changes and is a team player in a fast paced environment.
