Senior Billing Coordinator Job in Washington 20005, District Of Columbia Us

• Independently manages time reporting and billing.  Specifically, performs analysis relative to time reporting and billing functions based on partner instructions and client billing guidelines.  Prints, distributes and edits pre-bills.  Discusses billing with principals (senior level interaction).  Independently solves billing and time reporting problems that arise.

• Invoicing - collects case data, creates draft invoices for review, receives edited invoices for preparation of final invoice.  Independently enters data into the billing system.

• Electronic billing - prepares, reviews and edits Ledes files in accordance with client billing guidelines and submits invoices through electronic billing systems to include:  Serengeti, Collaborati, TyMetrix 360, CounselLink, lEgal eXchange, ShareDoc, etc.

• Third Party electronic invoicing.

• Independently manages own work.

• Projects - works on special projects as assigned.

• General Administrative Support - filing and copying.

Qualifications

• Elite Enterprise experience is a must.

• 5+ years experience in a law firm environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in electronic billing.

• Ability to handle complex and split billing.

• Strong PC capability - working knowledge of spreadsheets and pivot tables is a must.

• Must be able to type at least 55 wpm.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of staff and attorneys, including senior level.
