Senior Bond Analyst – High Yield / Investment Grade – Top Tier Hedge Fund
Excellent opportunity for a Senior Bond Analyst to join a Top Tier Hedge Fund as they look to add to their Hong Kong team.
This an excellent opportunity for a driven and successful candidate to develop their career within the Credit Research space with a leading Hedge Fund looking to expand their team.
My client is looking for strong bond analysts with 5-7 years experience and a strong exposure across the Asian Credit markets, either High Yield or investment grade debt. The role will have a strong focus upon the Greater China markets and prior experience in this area is an advantage.
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for developing reports and investment ideas on the North Asia credit markets; analysing market data, conducting statistical analyses and developing Investment proposals for the team. The ideal candidate with have buyside experience across the Greater China credit space.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop research in a team which is expanding its regional coverage.
- Monitor, evaluate and explain the regional credit outlook, focusing on revenue-relevant, liquid, and thematically important credit markets.
- Regularly write and project manage both strategic and trading-oriented investment ideas.
- Coordinate research with in-house company analysts and external research companies.
- Liaise and strengthen relationships with internal and external clients.
- Supervise and mentor credit analysts within the research unit of fixed-income research.
Key Requirements
- At least 5-7 years experience within Credit research with a specific focus on High Yield or Investment Grade debt
- University educated with a degree in either Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related field
- Strong Analytical/Problem solving skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills; enjoy research work and discussing research findings with stakeholders.
- Personal characteristics suited for teamwork, communication, intellectual challenge, and detail-orientation.
