Senior BSA/AML Audit, OFAC Bank Internal Audit, San Francisco, California
JOB DESCRIPTION:
US banking enterprise is seeking an exceptional senior audit manager to take the lead role in overseeing the BSA/AML and OFAC audit program across the enterprise. The bank have been showing some impressive growth throughout 2013, and are now setting themselves up for a strong 2014.
The BSA/AML and OFAC program is a key strategic focus for them and therefore this role will be very visible to senior decision makers in the business.
You will be supervising the audit staff and will be responsible for the development and the completion of performance evaluations.
This position will play a key role in the overall risk analysis of the firm and will be responsible for the development of the annual and long-term audit plans of the institution as well as annual reporting to the Audit Committee.
The firm are looking for Anti Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act specialists who can take a lead role in developing a truly outstanding audit function. The incumbent will be expected to develop a comprehensive program of risk-based audit coverage that reflects the impact of internal/external emerging risk.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS)
• 10 to 15 years of directly related audit experience and 8-10 years of directly related BSA/AML and OFAC audit experience.
• Experience which includes audit planning, fieldwork, and audit reporting.
• Ability to utilize risk-based audit methodology; preparing reports that communicate findings and recommendations to line and senior management.
• Knowledge of consumer compliance laws and regulations.
• Significant managerial experience, supervising a team of 2 or more Professional Staff
