In this key role, we will rely on you to prepare annual and multi-year budgets, provide policy advice, write reports and briefing notes, undertake sophisticated analysis, and manage relationships effectively. Using critical thinking and sound judgment, you will provide strategic financial advice to departments and assist in implementing the Region’s business plan and budget.

Our ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in economics, business, finance or a related discipline, or a Chartered Accountant designation, as well as a minimum of three years of demonstrated financial and policy experience in a public sector organization. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Candidates must also have exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
