Senior Business Analyst (1 Yr contract) recruitment

Job Description

Finance Transformation Project has as part of its initiatives a project for automation the Management Reallocation process across the organization. A Senior Business Analyst who can work with the individual product verticals in terms of putting together the requirements, supporting the development and testing with assisting the entire project into a delivery / BAU mode is the broad job description of this position.

Key Roles Responsibilities

1. Work with the finance systems product verticals, business stakeholders to arrive at the detailed requirements for the project.
2. Maintain a tight control over the documentation, work with the various technology teams based out of SG / Chennai to ensure scope is frozen and all time-lines are met in terms of the various project mile-stones.
3. Support clarifications sought from the tech team and perform testing of the delivered functionality along with the product verticals / Chennai BAU team etc.
4. Ensure that the final product is suitable supported with quality documentation that will enable the project to be transitioned onto a BAU basis to Chennai.
5. On completion of the project, support the PM in performing a standard Post Implementation Report, document all findings / next steps and logically close the project.

Qualifications Skills

1. Exposure to working in a Data Warehouse environment in a multinational bank and sound knowledge of finance systems and concepts.
2. Exposure to working in the PeopleSoft Financials module would be an ideal qualification.
3. Good attention to details diligent in follow-up of outstanding items and tracking them to a logical closure.
4. Accounting background would be preferred though not mandatory.
5. Prior experience in working on similar projects and also capable of supporting the project manager / product verticals on the entire project phase
6. Good documentation skills to ensure clear / concise documentation of the requirements and also transition of the project deliverables into a BAU state.
7. Good communication skills as the BA would be expected to work with the individual product verticals and then articulate the requirements in an effective manner
8. Self starter attitude and able to work at peak efficiency for the entire duration of this short project.
