BUSINESS ANALYST - Charles River v9, London
My client, an investment bank in central London, is urgently seeking a Senior Business Analyst with Charles River v9 Implementation experience to join their team on a contract basis for an initial 6 month term. If you do not have experience with Charles River v9 you will not be considered for interview.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BUSINESS ANALYST (Charles River v9):
*Provide guidance and expertise in the system configuration of Charles River Development v9.
*Accurately document V9 standard configuration set ups.
*Work as part of the project team to gather requirements from the required business areas.
*Accurately convert requirements into high quality functional specs.
*Analyse and map business, technology and data processes in a structured way.
*Take a hands-on, methodical approach to identify and resolve project issues.
*Be able to work on your own initiative, be self-motivated and to take on responsibility for solution delivery.
SKILLS EXPERIENCE
Essential:
*Experience of working on an implementation of Charles River V9.
*An expert understanding of the investment life cycle
*A solid appreciation of the securities and instruments used in modern fund management.
*Ability to accurately produce high quality documentation
*Experience of the data technologies required to support the Front Office.
*A delivery focused approach and attitude, and strength in driving change.
*A strong, analytical mind, comfortable working on complex problems.
Advantageous:
*Proficiency in SQL, sufficient to analyse data and investigate stored procedures written in Transact SQL.
*Experience of the typical infrastructure components and data architectures that support investment management systems.
*An understanding of messaging technologies used for the communication of transactional data to 3rd parties.
*IMC or similar professional qualification.
