Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Project Analyst will also ensure that there is adequate test coverage for system upgrades, providing expertise and input to test phases including review and sign off of test documentation.
Responsibilities
• Identify and analyse the impact on Collateral Operations of new products and service enhancements for introduction into the Collateral Operations area.
• Liaise with the Liquidity Management department and Operations teams to ensure that requirements are captured and documented as appropriate.
• Manage resources working on Collateral Operations projects, ensuring that staff are set objectives and roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
• Produce required project documentation (e.g. Business Requirements) outlining the Business needs.
• Ensure that operational and external procedures are updated or produced as required.
• Provide solutions to problems ensuring that they are effectively communicated.
• Work with manager to ensure that sufficient resources are available to support projects.
• Provide input to test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing and other relevant test phases.
• Assist with the execution of User Acceptance Testing and other relevant test phases, ensuring defects are raised appropriately.
• Ensure appropriate test documentation is reviewed and produced for all relevant test phases.
• Liaise with other stakeholders, both internal and external to progress requirements into development phase.
• Perform training and ensure knowledge is transferred to BAU staff.
• Build strong relationships with all key individuals within Collateral Operations, Commercial Services, Risk and IT.
Skills and experience
Required
• Experience of working on projects and conducting business analysis.
• Experience of producing UAT scripts, co-ordinating and executing tests
• Significant experience working in cash payments and collateral management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisational skills and demonstrates the ability to work within and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Ability to use own initiative and of a pro-active nature.
Desired
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging.
• Experience of working in Banking area.
• Educated to degree level
• Agile project methodology
