Senior Business Analyst
Essential Skills: demonstrable track record of working as a structured BA within a consultancy or large scale financial services organisation; proven track record of delivering complex IT projects or programs of work; experience of structured methodologies, in particular AGILE (SCRUM, XP, RUP etc.) and / or Waterfall; subject matter expertise within a range of asset classes from the front to back office.
Desirable Skills: Business knowledge across the following areas is very useful to my client currently, these areas are: FX; Wealth / Asset Management ; Commodities Trading, particularly with knowledge across soft / agricultural products; front office trading experience; Oil, Gas and Metals.
My client is a highly respected technology consultancy based in London with a client base that is wide and varied across a number of large global blue-chip organisations. They have a strong specialism within Financial Services, particularly trading organisations with most of their project based work coming within large financial services organisations. They are a delivery based technology company that pride themselves on delivering complex enterprise scale technology solutions. They generally work on the more complex and tricky assignments so need and bright and determined BA’s who love problem solving. The work is wide and varied so you need be the type of individual that is comfortable being parachuted into a live project and be proactive to learn about the business quickly, and start delivering solutions in a short space of time. If you have worked within a delivery focused technology consultancy before then you will definitely be of interest to my client as you will understand the challenges and demands of being successful as a consultant. However the consultancy will consider BA’s from most backgrounds, although at present there is strong need for BA’s with some sort of financial services acumen. My client is in particular looking for lead BA's or BA team Leaders to grow and expand small to medium sized teams across the expanding client base, so if leadership is something you require in your next role, then get in touch.
