Senior Business Analyst
A well established energy retailer are currently experiencing a period of growth in which they have a requirement for a business focused Business Analyst. Consistently delivering competitive services to their increasing customer base, they continue to offer a unique blend of tenacity, agility, and progressive thinking to the market.
About the Role:
The key purpose of the role will be to research and analyse current business process and systems, to provide clear advice and recommendations for improvement initiatives primarily within customer operations.
The successful candidate with have a strong understanding of end to end business processes and having had operational and market experience within the utilities industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Review systems to ensure their integrity and durability.
- Act as a conduit between business and IT
- Provide mentorship and management to a tem of BA's
- Assess functional specifications against business requirements
- Provide support to relevant business units to implement market changes within agreed timeframes
- Assist in writing test cases as required in relation to system developments and work requests
- Assist in UAT process
- Identify systems issues and provide solutions/improvements
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proven analytical problem solving ability
- Experience within the utilities industry
- A minimum of 3 years experience in customer relations
- Experience managing people is essential
- Ability to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders and management
- Ability to manage change and work effectively within a changing environment
- Ability to work effectively in an autonomous manner
- Strong communication both written and spoken
