Supply Demand Management (SDM) is a global function and has the mandate to optimize the bank's 3rd party cost base. It directs and controls all supply management activities across all regions, all divisions and all commodities (externally provided products services).

The Demand and Cost Management (DCM) drives the group-wide annual planning process for the 3rd party cost lines and supports the internal business partners in optimizing demand and cost management within the bank. Furthermore, DCM is responsible for identifying areas where big change in cost and demand management projects can be initiated.
The main tasks will be from research/analysis (deep-dives in different commodities as well as business processes), creating new ideas/business cases/presentations all the way through to implementation of projects and programs (more as steering body).
Managing demand and process driven initiatives, this role will require working with Business Division stakeholders, SDM colleagues, Cost Line Owners and other DCM colleagues.

* Degree in economics and relevant work experience in business/process analysis and/or consulting (knowledge in business analysis, process design as well as analytical skills)
* German and English language skills
* Preferable knowledge in Supply Management of indirect goods services
* Able to build management presentations, solid business cases as well as reliable project plans
* Demonstrate highly developed relationship management skills and gravitas to management level
* Ability to constructively challenge clients regarding their needs and specifications and have the influencing skills to have an impact at management level
* Act as a self-reliant manager and professional operating as part of a larger team as well as change agent to create results that will sustain
