Senior Business Analyst – Finance IT – P&L – UML recruitment
Tier One Investment Bank require AVP VP level Business Analysts to join their Finance IT function. Candidates will be focused primarily on business technology re-engineering in the PL and transaction domain. The role will span all aspects of Business Analysis and will include
• High level requirements gathering
• Documentation of functional requirements
• Business process modeling
• Wireframes
• Business Rules
• Use/Test Cases
• Data Dictionaries
In more detail the key responsibilities will include
- Liaise with client SME’s to understand and elicit requirements
- Work closely with other Business focussed BA’s to translate high level requirements into detailed specification documents
- Ensure completeness in existing system knowledge and proactively make recommendations.
- Undertake gap analysis between current and future states
- Involvement in SIT, UAT and Regression
- Communicate architectural constraints on system design and identify environmental issues which may impact system development and/or deployment.
- Familiarise the client with existing and new system functionality through production of documentation and/or training
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst with structured, formal analysis techniques such as Agile and Six Sigma and have detailed knowledge of the UML toolkit. Applicants should come from an Investment Banking background and ideally have strong knowledge of daily PL and Risk Reporting.
