Senior Business Analyst – Financial Sys Delivery
Senior Business Analyst - Financial Systems Delivery as part of E-Commerce, Self Serve led IT and business Transformation - High Transactional Retail Financial Services - to 80k + Bonus and excellent package: Financial Services organisation kicking off a major business, IT and finance transformation from Call centre and legacy platforms towards an online, self service, eCommerce business model - with all of the Finance/Accounting systems to support this huge change - which is impacting the structures and business processes of the organisation at all levels, requires and experienced and heavy hitting Senior Business Analyst with Accounting knowledge / background / qualifications who will be a big part of a core delivery team in the organisation, spearheading and driving this change via challenging and shaping financial customer requirements, engaging with Accounting / Finance stakeholders to a senior level. A key role in one of the most exciting and transformational IT and business programmes happening at the moment - being a source of innovation and catalyst for change - implementing a major finance package.
The right candidate will have an accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, etc) and ideally 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on the development and deployment of financial systems or web / browser-based systems (ideally E-commerce / self service) ideally within an environment undergoing significant Business and technology change and transformation and will have worked as a senior Business Analyst on large projects, and have very strong stakeholder management skills, engaging with, challenging and persuading a very senior CxO level stakeholder group, particularly Financial stakeholders such as the CFO. Off-shoring Experience is desirable. Experience of Multi-year, multi-million pound projects, which have affected significant technology / business change will be highly beneficial. Project Management experience desirable
You will have significant experience as a senior business analyst, probably 10+ years, and will be strong with a variety of techniques and exude experience, building confidence in your abilities, and be confident with business users, be able to challenge them, perhaps convince them to accept a vanilla solution. You will have experience of financial systems or web (not just sites, but applications that sit on a browser, B2b and b2c, ideally self service, e-commerce).
