A leading global Asset Manager is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience and knowledge of the Funds Management industry, including the technologies and processes from Front Office, Middle Office through to Back Office. In this role you will work closely with investments and operations teams to capture detailed business requirements and conduct all aspects of business analysis.
The role includes:
- Conduct analysis through understanding of business requirements and processes, and technology needs
- Conduct and prepare requirement analysis, feasibility analysis, gap analysis, functional specification, process flows and procedures, test case plans, implementation plans, user manuals, training material etc
- Cost benefit analysis of business cases and propose technology solutions to meet changing business needs
- Participate through quality assurance and UAT phases
- Identify and minimise project risks
- Various other Business analysis duties
What we are looking for:
- Strategic thinker, have a solutions oriented mindset - can think outside of the box
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Relationship and Stakeholder Management skills
- Self motivator, can work independently and also with a local/global team
- Project Management experience is a bonus
- Knowledge of the full investment lifecycle and processes from front through to back office (essential)
- Ability to effectively communicate to tech and non technical teams
Experience Required:
- Funds Management experience (8+ years experience)
- Business Analysis or IT consulting experience (10+ years)
- Sound understanding of the Asset Management business
- Good understanding of the Equities and Fixed Income Securities (including Derivatives), security hierarchies, benchmarks and analytics
- Sound understanding of local market practises and regulatory requirements
- Sound understanding of SDLC
