Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

People within the Client Operations-AO workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.

The Senior Business Analyst will have the following key responsibilities:
• Drive business requirements and functional requirements for creation of functional design documents
• Evaluate business processes and review technical solutions from business perspective
• Baseline functional requirements specification
• Set up plan for requirements gathering and tracking
• Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers
• Onsite would have interaction with 3rd parties and client teams
• Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/sponsors needs and deliver on desired outcomes.
• Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
• Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics. Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
• Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimating models, identify resources and skills required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance against them.
• Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues.
• Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions.
• Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis.
• Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
• Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them.
• Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
• Manage project closure initiatives, such as client satisfaction survey and closure analysis.
• Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools and findings for future projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years Program management skills, and knowledge in program management and/or related methodologies (e.g. PMI, Six Sigma, or other industry accepted standard)
• Minimum 3 years working in the planning and forecasting of projects or documenting and gathering business, functional or technical requirements
• Minimum 3 years in banking
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline
• PMP certification
• Able to work in a matrix organization within specified application and technology
• Minimum 3+ years Program management and facilitation skills
• Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
Professional Skill Qualifications:
• Strong written and communication skills
• Ability to Interface with technology leadership
• Understands multi-location delivery experience
• Intermediary client-facing and relationship building Skills
• Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio.
• Highly organized with good time management skills.
