One of my leading Asset Management clients is looking to hire a new Business Analyst into their Front Office Investment Risk team. This team is responsible for all Investment, Credit, and Market and Operational Risk so looking for a Senior Business Analyst or Senior Investment Risk Analyst to manage Risk Projects.
This client is currently going through a Strategic Risk Programme and has a variety of projects taking place such as the building of a new Risk System to replace an old Legacy System, creating of a new online Operational Risk Tool and the production of standard and ad hoc reports templates. As a result they require someone with strong Investment Risk experience.
They are now looking for someone with strong Risk experience either as a Business Analyst or an Investment Risk Analyst who would be interested in training to become a Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be working with Senior Stakeholders so it is essential that you have the gravitas and ability to deal with challenging stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you MUST have the following experience:
• Worked for an Asset Management client within the Risk team or Risk Systems Vendors
• Good understanding of 3rd party risk systems (Riskmetrics, Barra, APT, Algorithmics)
• Solid Risk experience such as risk management and risk measures (tracking Error, VaR, risk sensitivities)
• Good understanding of front-to-back processing within asset management and how this might impact Risk
• Highly numerate with good Excel skills.
