Senior Business Analyst, OTC Clearing Solution recruitment
Responsibilities
- Analyze project charter and requirements documents to identify potential impacts to OTC Clearing processes and systems
- Develop a comprehensive, detailed list of requirements to ensure the program addresses all concerns; gain signoff from the stakeholders
- Advocate for the stakeholders’ priorities with other project groups
- Execute projects end-to-end, including drafting requirements, preparing and executing test plans, and actively participating in deployments
- Hands-on testing/validation on behalf of users, including analysis of General Ledger transaction reports
- Maintain open-issue log; independently drive closure of questions by investigating and understanding issues, and working with stakeholders to agree on solutions
- Track project status and provide regular status updates to management
- Represent Client On-boarding Team with Business, Technology, Operations, and Finance stakeholders, by projecting confidence and a high degree of understanding of the project
Requirements
- University graduate in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent
- Over 8 years of experience working as Business Analyst or Project Manager with strong middle and back office experience gained within a global banking environment
- At least 15 years’ relevant experience within banking / financial institutions
- Hands on knowledge in working on OTC clearing solution/operations is a MUST
- Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal; conversational to fluent Cantonese is a plus
- Good time management skills with the ability to intelligently prioritize tasks
- Strong influencing skill and able to facilitate change
- A proactive team player with the ability to also work independently
- Keen learner with drive, enthusiasm and ability to take initiative and resolve problems
- Should be PC literate and experienced in MS Office Suite applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Immediate available is highly preferred
