Senior Business Analyst – Performance Analytics / Expense Management / Cost Control recruitment
My client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst within their Performance and Expense Management Group
This is a new position which will play a key role in the success of the Performance Expense Management work-stream within the Finance Change initiative. Specifically this work-stream is focused on delivering industry best practice processes across the entire Group within a number of areas:
- Performance Expense Management framework – Aligning financial decision making at all levels of the bank
- Efficient Effective Management Reporting via a rationalisation standardisation programme
- Investment Governance
- Strategic budgeting and planning
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To develop a sound knowledge of the affected business area and the effect of the requested changes
- To liaise with business managers and users to understand and document business requirements
- To work with business owners and others on the project to design, build and test optimal solutions
- Work with project sponsor to understand and document project objectives and scope.
- Work with business owners from affected business areas to understand current processes and to document and prioritise requirements.
- Work with delivery work-streams to communicate business objectives and requirements, make decisions on delivery options and produce delivery costs and timescales.
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience across Management Reporting / Cost Control
- Strong track record of delivering solutions on large MIS projects, ideally whilst working for a "Big 5" consultancy or a similar company
- Good knowledge of Finance Performance Management processes and accounting related principles
