Senior Business Analyst- Regulatory Change recruitment
My client, a leading investment bank, is seeking a Lead Business Analyst for projects within the Regulatory Reporting Change Management team.
The Lead Business Analyst will work on business change projects within Regulatory Reporting. Working closely with Finance staff, IT and other stakeholders (e.g. Credit and Market Risk) the analyst will be expected to:
*Lead the documentation of existing business processes within Financial Control.
*Identify process improvement opportunities and assist users in transition to new business processes.
*Lead the documentation of target business processes and ensure that they will meet project objectives.
*Work with IT analysts to obtain initial estimates for any IT development which is required.
*Lead the documentation of business requirements for IT changes.
*Work with the IT team to ensure business requirements are understood and reflected in IT documentation.
*Lead the production of test plans and test scripts to enable thorough user acceptance testing of the IT and process changes.
*Lead the execution of user testing.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with extensive full lifecycle Business Analysis experience within a top tier investment bank. You will have knowledge of the regulatory environment and experience of working on Regulatory Reporting projects (including the Basel 2 regulatory framework). Candidates with risk management will have a distinct advantage while strong business acumen is required.
