Our client an established banking organisation in Edinburgh are recruiting for 2x Senior Business Analyst to work on a 6 month contract role in Edinburgh
Role Purpose:
Work in a project environment in the Operations Testing workstream within a Group Operations Programme. The objective of the workstream is to stand up the Bank Operations and ensure the Operations are fully functional as a stand alone bank, in line with EU requirements to divest branches.
As part of the Process workstream you will shape, manage and deliver part of the Business Operating Model for the Bank, establishing where hand in / hand offs need to happen and create transitional business processes where required to ensure the Bank Operations are fully functional.
You will report to the Project Manager.
You will:
• Undertake detailed analysis of existing processes and identify and deliver changes required for the Bank.
• Identify and implement hand in / hand offs where required within business processes.
• Produce transitional business processes to ensure smooth delivery of the changes prior to, during and after the segregation and separation of the Bank.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies impacting upon the programme to ensure they are effectively monitored and mitigated, escalating through Project Manager and Governance where necessary.
• Communicate/interact with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business Subject Matter Experts and Technical Colleagues across the Programme
Previous Knowledge and Experience
.
• The successful candidate will have experience in process design and delivery.
• Proven track record working in a project environment is preferred.
• Business knowledge in Trade Payments or Reconciliation Investigation is preferred.
