Job Description
The Solvency II team, part of the Treasury RM Solutions unit within Solution Delivery, is responsible for any system change related to the Solvency II requirements which will come into effect on 1 January 2013. Solvency II is based on economic principles for the measurement of assets and liabilities and is also a risk-based framework as risk will be measured on consistent principles and capital requirements will depend directly on this.
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to strengthen our capabilities in supporting different business functions, mainly in the Risk Management and/or Finance domains.
The position holder will join a team of business/technical analysts with the focus on the delivery of projects based on the demand from the Solvency II program.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
* In collaboration with the domain experts provide business analysis and requirements engineering services: independently analyze and define solutions for complex business requirements within the corresponding domain leading to IT specifications
* Lead successful implementation of projects from end to end i.e. from specification to user acceptance
* Coordinate and monitor changes and communicate status and issues transparent to the relevant stakeholders.
* Share knowledge and coach team members and peers
* Build a trusted relationship to the different stakeholders
* Coordination between stakeholders in Solvency II, Risk Management, Finance, service providers in IT and Business Engineering units
Requirements
* Degree holder in a relevant discipline with 5-10 years experience in the financial services industry
* Good knowledge of the Risk Management and/or Finance disciplines
* Proven business analysis and requirements engineering skills and experience in risk related projects
* Experienced in project management methodologies and project management
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, proven customer orientation
* Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a global team
* Ability to communicate in English is required, German is a plus
* Ability to see the 'bigger context'
