Senior Business Application Analyst

The Senior Business Applications Analyst is responsible for the following:
- Performing Service Excellence in day to day communications with both corporate and facility personnel.
- Provides application support and training to user community.
- Implements Med Series4 and other business applications.
- Analyze and document application requirements.
- Coordinates, accomplishes and communicates project deliverables, milestones and tasks in accordance with established project schedules and commitments.
- Assists IS and Operations management in identifying and developing strategic and operational objectives.
- Compliance with departmental and corporate policies and procedures.
- Receives and resolves Behavioral Health Help desk tickets are they are assigned.
- Communicated with Manager Business applications on problematic help desk tickets.
Essential Job Duties
- Receive and respond to Help Desk tickets
- Train user community on how to use the software applications
- Manages and coordinates with software vendors application issues and problems
- Does testing on new MS4 releases prior to installation of software
- Documents system requirements and specifications based on input from user community and management.
- Documents project plans to include but not limited to tasks, resources and schedule
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progress in accordance with schedule and budget.
- Provides updates on assigned project tasks
- Keeps management and others informed of project status and related issues
- Develop and maintain a high level knowledge of Med Series4 and other systems
Keeps abreast of IS technologies and business practices
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge in all areas of Med Series4 and other applications.
- Frequent travel to facilities to conduct on site training in Med Series4 and other applications.
- Conduct exit interview with facility management reviewing the area’s that had been addressed during the visit.
- Prepare a detail report on the findings and recommendations of area’s addressed during the visit.
- The report will include detail on what training was offered and also recommendations of improving the facility business practices.
- Approximately 25-40% travel required.
