As Manager, in Business Consulting at Sapient Global Markets you will lead delivery teams helping clients to drive innovative strategies to improve business performance and manage risk. Typical engagements include roadmap planning, competitive edge analysis, operational process improvement, vendor selection and change management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct business analysis to define business strategy, objectives and requirements and help to develop a compelling business strategy for clients that meets their business goals.
· Determine measurable business results, analyze and model business processes and gather business requirements.
· Conduct business research such as: Financial analysis, benchmarking, market and competitor analysis.
· Create and present business solution options and support decision making processes amongst stakeholders.
· Design and facilitate change management processes.
· Coordinate teams to ensure delivery acting as interface between the business consulting and IT teams.
- Facilitate workshops and host compelling presentations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree.
- Significant work experience in investment banking industry.
- Exposure to, and strong understanding of a range of assets such as Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX, Equities, either from a business-as-usual or business analysis/project perspective.
- Strong understanding of the front-to-back trade event life cycle processing.
- Understanding of Front and Middle Office processes.
- Former exposure to specific vendor systems preferable i.e. Calypso, Fidessa, MarkitWire, DTCC DerivSERV, Bloomberg, Reuters.
- Previous project experience as either a Subject Matter Expert or Business Analyst.
- Experience in reviewing or authoring Business Analysis documents (including Business/Functional Requirements, Business Cases, Test Strategy and Approach).
- Experience of working on large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Travel may be required as much of the work is done at the client site.
