Senior Business Development Manager – UK IFAs; London UK recruitment
The company are widely recognised as being one of the leading specialist boutiques within the UK IFA space and offer a range of investment trust funds including VCIs, OEICs and unregulated collective investment schemes. As a senior business development manager the candidate will be responsible for capital raising for the company’s funds among the UK IFAs. The main responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and targeting potential new investors from the IFA market within the UK
• Developing and enhancing relationships with IFAs in the UK to ensure continued investments
• Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and CEO to ensure timely updates on the company’s business strategy in the UK
• Regular travel throughout the UK
• Attending meetings and events as appropriate
The suitable candidate for this role will likely demonstrate the following:
• A proven track record in selling a range of retail focused investment funds to the UK IFA network, including VCTs, EIS, OEICs and UCISs
• A thorough understanding and knowledge of the retail investment fund space, along with ability to identify the major companies within the area
• A background of building and developing relationships with IFAs across the UK
• A pre-existing client base of IFAs in the UK and a demonstrable ability of selling funds to these clients
• At least five years experience in an asset management environment
