Amazon is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Senior Business Development / Sales professional to help grow our existing Coupon offering ( www.amazon.com/coupons ) from a proof-of-concept into a mature product. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneur with proven skills in identifying market opportunities, developing business strategies and product requirements, prioritizing execution plans and an interest in being a key participant in determining the next phase of the offering. As this is a nascent product, the candidate will thrive in a scrappy world with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities as well be technically savvy to work with internal and external technical teams. The Senior Business Development Manager, Coupons is responsible for growing existing and recruiting new partners for Amazon to grow the coupon product offerings by identifying and negotiating with large Fortune 500 partners as well as smaller partners. You would be responsible to do competitive market analysis, analyze the business needs, create the product requirements and create go-to-market sales tools, helping our partners to understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers with a final goal of signing up new partners. Responsibilities: As part of this new product offering you will be responsible to: Identify and build relationships with executive decision-makers across a broad spectrum: from Fortune 500 partners to smaller partners. Develop, evolve and execute on specific target account plans to meet product / Sales goals and be able to negotiate a win - win situation for Amazon and its partners to close deals. Work closely with specific category/vendor/Sales managers in building a partner recruitment strategy that is in alignment with our business goals. Work with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop compelling offers and business opportunities that meet and exceed expectations and requirements Work with these groups to assess the competitive market, analyze the business needs, create the product requirements, define the go-to-market strategy, and create go-to-market sales tools, helping them to understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will test a variety of tactics to grow partner and their customer adoption; test our hypotheses about how customers use this product which you will use to develop your strategy and plans for Amazon and its partners. Measure, manage and report account status and an overall business view on a regular basis.
