Sr. Business Development Manager, Government BPS
Job Summary:
Our Sr. Business Development Manager for Government BPS (Business Partner Sales) are self-motivated and entrepreneurial. In this role, you will develop new business relationships and partner-contracts to drive T-Mobile sales through indirect lines of distribution. As you develop new indirect channels, you will help your distribution partner%27s sales organizations and T-Mobile customers with sourcing government specific products/services, identifying secure mobility solutions, deployment planning, and cost analysis. One of your goals will be to work with VAR, Alliance Partners, and the Direct sales team to sign customers on to new Government liable contracts through co-sell management. You will work closely with the Business Development team in to define long-term Government solution trends, identify critical industry partnerships, contract with enabling third-parties, and co-sell with partners and the internal direct sales team.
!*!Job Duties Responsibilities:
- Proactively gain new business through professional networking, devising creative and effective sales approach and solutions to find, close, sign, train and support Alliance and Co-Sell Partners.
- Proactively gain new business through professional networking, devising creative and effective sales approach and solutions to find, close, sign, train and support VAR Master Dealers and Sub dealers.
- New business development analysis leading to Government Solutions and Channel Strategy
- Creating winning proposals
- Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management
Job Requirements:
Functional Technical Skills:
- 5+ years experience in Government Indirect sales and channel partnerships with a demonstrated history of contract acquisition and sales achievements in a commissioned environment
- 5 years wireless, telecom or technology industry experience
- Strong executive contacts within Government/Fortune 1000 companies
- Excellent business development, presentation and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Valid driver%27s license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of insurance
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Bachelor%27s Degree-General Studies Preferred
