As a Business Development Representative and member of PNC's Institutional Investment Group, you will be joining a team of seasoned investment professionals managing our retirement and investment services, utilizing sophisticated market strategies and top quality research. This position can be based in Troy or Grand Rapids, MI.


As a Business Development Representative in the Institutional Investments Group, you are responsible for identifying prospective customers in the local market as well as in assigned regional industry markets. You will initiate contact with prospective clients within large corporate, public finance and healthcare sectors in the state of Michigan. You will prepare and deliver presentations covering investment management, custody, defined benefit and defined contribution plans, follow-up with prospects, coordinate administrative and investment conversion team, and close sale of the prospective account.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Finance, Economics.

* Advanced degree preferred.

* At least ten years of institutional investment sales experience.

* Proven track record of Institutional Sales

* Background in finance, business, financial planning, investments, legal principals, employee benefits, tax and corporate structure.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Knowledge of ERISA, and ability to comprehend regulatory documents

Ability to comprehend basic financial statements, good knowledge of investments, understanding of fiduciary principals
