Senior Business Leader, Financial Analysis
This role provides leadership to the U.S. Markets accounting team and is accountable for the accurate and complete accounting for transactions impacting U.S. Markets.
Major Accountabilities:
• Lead U.S. Markets monthly and quarterly general ledger close processes.
• Oversee complex accounting issues, including revenue, contra-revenue and expenses.
• Oversee preparation of monthly/quarterly deliverables, including monthly pacing reports, corporate controller governance materials, disclosure committee and quarterly variance materials.
• Proactively work with various functions to assess the financial statement impact of expected business activities.
• Complete special requests from Senior Management for analysis, research, and U.S. Markets presentations
• Maintain strong internal controls environment, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Skill Requirements:
• Ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization, and has the ability to train, mentor and leverage the skills of others to achieve objectives.
• Strong technical accounting skills and research capabilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with emphasis on building strong, long-term relationships across varying functions.
• Highly developed project management/organizational skills.
Experience Requirements:
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience
• Certified Public Accountant
• BA/BS in Finance, MBA preferred.
