Senior Business Manager
As a Senior Business Managerat a leading Financial Services organisation based in London you`ll be responsible for:
Global Finance Planning
- Implement fit for purpose planning forecasting tools and techniques in partnership with practitioners, HTS Finance and Business finance
- Manage annual planning and recoveries ensuring consistent MI across Business and IT
- Monitor actual - projected expense levels versus budgets explain major variances and interface with customers on results;
- Manage approval and expense control procedures for IT, identifying and implementing cost savings and administrative-internal controls;
- Review financial trends to predict and prevent issues and also identify opportunities for cost efficiency
- Own the relationship with HTS Finance team
Human Resources
- Implement processes and tools to ensure accurate headcount tracking, forecasting and reporting
- Provide accurate MI to facilitate Performance Management and Pay Review process as required
MI
- Ensure that only necessary and useful MI is produced
- Ensure that necessary MI is accurate, consistent and timely
- Ensure that MI is informative and adds value to aid decision making - not merely representations of `data`
- Ensure that MI is provided at the right organisational level to facilitate delegated management responsibility
- Excellent commercial and financial management ability with proven track record and experience in a service company type model
- Proven ability to distil complex and varied data into information that can be utilised to manage and measure performance
- Delivery-focused with ability to pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality
- Proven ability to prioritise competing demands
- Ability to distil individual problems from complexity and focus on delivery - Proven ability to work independently, be reliable and highly motivated, energetic and able to succeed under pressure
- Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, third party consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users
- Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with proven experience working in a matrix management structure and building and maintaining global team relationships
- Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a complex, global organisation
- Exceptional organisational, planning and management skills
- Strong leadership and management ability, motivating staff
- Outstanding written - verbal communication and presentation skills

Between £110,000 and £100,000
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
