Position Description:

Senior Business Planning Manager

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager of Business Planning will play a key role in defining, collecting, and reporting on the metrics facilitating success for the Technology and Engineering organization.

Responsibilities:

• Actively manage operational business processes - recommend areas for improvement and lead projects to enhance the reporting and analytical infrastructure, and provide a high level leadership.
• This role reports to the Head of Business Planning Ops.
• Work with the Technology leadership to establish best in class industry practices for key metric development and reporting processes, including the annual budgeting process, material planning process, and vendor compliance.
• Execute against budget, leading regular results analysis sessions - provide detail explanations for variances, and research open items.
• Analyze and track Key Business KPI's, and develop a KPI's Dashboard to provide reporting analysis.
• Develop a method for estimating the financial value of proposed key projects, including development of business case analysis and a means of reporting financial returns.
• Provide strategic support for managing key vendors, including developing pricing and costing models to ensure Clearwire financial interests are maximized.
• Act as a liaison for various stakeholders, including the accounting and finance team, IT, HR, Procurement, the ePMO, our third party relationships with Ericsson and other vendors and others as needed.
• Must be well organized, handle difficult and challenging people, adapt to changing environments, and work in high pressure situations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Performance Management or related field required. MBA or equivalent masters in Finance or Performance Management preferred.
• 10+ years of finance or operations management related experience
• Telecommunications/Internet industry experience preferred
• Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting techniques and internal organizational structures.
• Strong communication, decision making and relationship-building skills are required
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
