The Business Project Team is responsible for managing all business projects for in JPMAM Hong Kong, the team support the business to drive projects forward and deliver added value in a variety of areas - products, eCommerce, operations procedures, technology infrastructure, risk compliance etc
Job Responsibilities
- Identifies business needs, recommending business priorities and communicates business needs to technology organization effectively
- Drive projects forwards by managing project progress, monitoring milestones and critical dates
- Act as a bridge gap between business, support and infrastructure teams, understand technical requirements and transfer into business needs and ideas
- Communicate and maintain effective relationships with the various teams in Hong Kong Business to seek out good ideas and follow-through to execute value-adding initiatives
- Plan, propose and executive new projects that will add value to the Hong Kong Business and acknowledge the changing business needs throughout the project life-cycle
- Maintain good prudence , maintenance and control over projects in BAU status, provide 'hands-on' involvements and understand the technical detail
- Ensure effective communication with relevant parties and raise enhancements / updates in a timely fashion
- Prepare and update various management reports on a periodic basis, handle ad-hoc management report requests from senior management and fund managers
- Consolidating information from multiple parties and exercising 'through the frame' communication to prepare senior management presentations
- Offer alternative perspectives to problems and provide innovative solutions to opportunities
Skills
- University graduate in Business, Finance and/or related discipline.
- 8 to 10 years all rounded business project management experiences, ideally with eCommerce background
- Strong understanding of asset management business from front to back
- Good understanding on how client's data flow from a transactional and operational perspective
- Regulatory understanding for the HK market is preferable
- Effective organization, prioritization and time management skills
- Exemplary communication skills, high fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Ability to handle multi-task and with an independent minded - can take ownership of project and deliver on own
- Quick learner with creativity and able to think outside the box
