Senior Business Support Analyst

An opportunity is now available to join HomeStart Finance in the position of Senior Business Support Analyst, within the Business Support Systems Business Unit, on an ongoing full time basis, working 75 hours per fortnight, conditional on a six month probationary period.
Duties and responsibilities:
The Senior Business Support Analyst is responsible for:
- being the pivot between retail business application owners and Information Technology
- ensuring that business as usual requirements are delivered in Information Technology solutions
- creating and maintaining conditions for effective relations with relevant external organisations, government agencies, customers and vendors where appropriate
- develop, maintain and manage service level agreements with key business and vendor stakeholders to support timely and quality delivery of products and services via the business systems conduit.
The essential criteria for this role include:
- a relevant degree level qualification or equivalent or substantial analytical or related commercial experience (at least 6 - 10 years) combined with advanced diploma or equivalent
- proven communication skills, including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing with all levels of staff, end users and Information Technology
- strong reporting and presentation skills
- strong analytical skills
- ability to critically evaluate proposals and opportunities and offer recommendations and judgements.
The desirable criteria for this role include:
- experience with financial analysis and modelling skills.
A current original satisfactory National Police Certificate will need to be provided by the successful applicant prior to commencement.
