Overview:
The Senior Business System Analyst (Sr. BSA) will work on-site, and remotely, with the customers’ Subject Matter Experts and management team to define both business and system requirements for successful deployment of TOA’s software and services. This individual must have a strong business operations and technical background, be a highly motivated self-starter, customer-focused, able to work quickly and effectively under minimal supervision with outstanding critical-thinking and problem-solving skills in order to meet predetermined implementation timelines. Multilingual candidates preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Enthusiasm, sincerity and passion about serving the customer
· Involved in implementations of a SaaS web-based software at multiple client sites
· Assists clients in identifying their critical customer needs: business objectives, core processes and key problems
· Collaborates with the customer to build project plans, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor cost and progress of implementation projects
· Evaluates project risks and works with customers and the TOA internal resource team (project management office (PMO), relationship managers, developers, etc.) to mitigate project risks and to ensure flawless implementation on time
· Has an excellent knowledge of IT Project Management concepts, practices, tools and procedures are required
· Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
· Leads and directs implementation teams
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) along with strong presentation skills and the ability to report effectively to top management
· Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
· Strong operational discipline and attention to details
· Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex deliveries to clients in a fast-paced customer-driven environment
· Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and work independently and creatively while meeting deadlines
· Experience working with Tier-1 telecommunication customers
· A high sense of time, urgency and motivation to get the job done
· The utmost integrity, honesty and confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the conduct of business operations
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related areas
- Project Management Certification a plus
Experience:
- 8 years of managing successful large software implementation projects
- 5+ years experience working at external customer work site (direct customer-facing experience)
- 5+ years working with WMF or SaaS in a project management role, a plus
Special Characteristics:
- Must be proficient in English.
- Additional knowledge of foreign languages preferred.
- 50% travel requirements.
