Position Description:

•Acting as a liaison between the business and technology organizations.
•Capturing, analyzing and creating business and technical requirements documents. These documents will be reviewed and agreed upon with the project stakeholder for signoff.
•Analyzing requirements and creating a functional requirements document using UML. This document will be a translation of the requirements into their functional components. The analyst will be responsible for obtaining agreement and signoff from the appropriate parties.
•Obtaining, analyzing and creating non-functional requirements documents which contain the information required to support system functionality. Examples of these would include performance, scalability, reliability, security, and usability.
•Developing “traceability matrices” that will be used in the SDLC to ensure testing and requirements scope is covered against needed business/application functions. This will become a key deliverable for the testing cycle.
•Assisting in the testing the system prior and after deployment.
•Supporting the business users in their testing and production deployment.
•Becoming a subject matter expert in pharmacy benefit management,
•On occasion act as a liaison to selected technology vendors and manage the FS/vendor relationship.
•Performing other duties as assigned to meet corporate objectives.

Qualifications:

•BS Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred
•Knowledge of the Pharmacy Benefits Management industry and claims adjudication systems and processes is a plus
•7+ years experience in Business Analysis and demonstrated understanding of business work flows and programming disciplines
•Solid knowledge of tools, processes, methodologies for requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
•Experience with software development lifecycle
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
•Experience with Planview is a plus
