Senior Buyer Job in Stratford, London UK
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Buyer to join their team on site in London.
Duties include:
- Reporting to site management team and coordinating procurement with HO purchasing office
- Developing sub contract package ITT`s and PQQ`s
- Organising flow of procurement information from site management team
- Registering opportunities on CompeteFOR procurement portal. Developing short lists
- Developing and issuing sub contract and materials purchasing packages
- Negotiating sub contract and materials procurement packages
- Producing client tender recommendation reports
- Administering sub contract order and materials order documentation
- Liaising with HO procurement dept
- Implementing, Monitoring and updating Procurement programme/schedule
Key skills required to carry out this role
- Thorough Civil Engineering/Construction knowledge
- Sound negotiation skills
- Exceptional administration skills
- Developed package analysis abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Enhanced IT skills including Excel and Word
This role would be ideal for a highly motivated and driven Buyer/Senior Buyer who can develop and organise an onsite procurement role.
