The Company:
Fantastic opportunity to join a Global Retail Distribution business based in West Sussex. Due to rapid growth my client now seeks a Senior Buyer to join their Purchasing Team.
Ideally you will come from a strong high street fashion retail background with a sound planning and analytical approach. You'll be ambitious and looking to join a business where you can make a real difference and grow with the role. You will have solid market knowledge with brand awareness and be able to predict trends.
The Role:
· Build a data base of core lines
· Identify and develop predicted trends
· Establish and maintain good communication with suppliers and host companies and the merchandising team.
Reasonability's:
· To be aware of the brand as identified by the host company
· To ensure that all products provided meet standards outlined
· To have a full knowledge of the ranges being offered by competitors
· Strong negotiation skills to gain best possible prices
· Predict trends
· Strong relationship with Merchandising department
