Job Description:
SLAIT Consulting is currently seeking a Senior C# Architect for a contract position with our client in Norfolk, VA.

Position Summary:
You’ll be part of a team focused on the rollout of new consumer facing web commerce system for 80+ web sites. In this position you will troubleshoot and ensure scaling of new platform as it is adopted throughout the year, bridging the gap between development and systems teams. This is not a Software Developer position.

Responsibilities
* Development Atypon subject matter expert
* Manage and troubleshooting Linux/Tomcat based application with MS SQL back end
* Handles highly complex system problems and challenges
* Load test application as part of the software release process
* Ensure scalability and availability
* Collaborate with internal teams and customers

Minimum Qualifications
* BS in CS/IT/EE. In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience
* Five years experience in an Internet service provider or enterprise-level environment
* Expert working with applications in Linux/Tomcat environment
* Experience with MS SQL Server, Windows IIS and ISAPI filters
* Strong scripting skills
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
* Excellent written/oral communication skills
