Investment Bank Exciting new Project for a Senior C++ Developer/Architect to work within the Investment Banks Cross Asset Exchange Connectivity and High Performance Front Office Team to develop innovative technical solutions that involve diverse technical skills in Real-Time Algorithm, Network, System and Market Data applications.
You will be responsible for building high performance applications for various Front Office businesses such as Arbirtrage and Volatility ensuring all data and flows between other sales, trading and settlement applications are maintained. You will also be responsible for building a sophisticated Real Time market data system from defining the Architecture to all process and workflow related aspects identifying new optimization enabling performance gains on the whole Market Access platform.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in C++ over a Linux/Unix platform
- Strong knowledge on messaging technologies, network protocols such as UDP and socket programming
- Scripting experience in either Shell, Perl or Python
- Experience with the SDLC and ideally within Project Management within an Investment Bank.
