Senior C# Developer (Hedge Fund - C#, ASP.Net, SQL, FX)
A London based Hedge Fund is looking to hire a skilled C# Developer covering their Front and Middle office. Based in the West End of London, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly meritocratic firm with a practically flat structure who are investing heavily in leading technology.
Responsibilities include
- Working closely with business/product teams to gather and document requirements.
- Full life cycle design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of the system components.
- Researching and advising on emerging technologies.
Essential Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience
- Highly intelligent with an outstanding academic record from a reputable university with a minimum 2:1/GPA3.5 or equivalent degree in a numerate discipline (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable proficiency in Object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, C++).
- A strong track record with hands-on professional experience in web front end development (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript RIA [Rich Internet Application] development).
- Experience of at least 1 complete software development cycle with a Trade Oder Management system (preferably using Agile methodology).
- Experience in working on FX platforms.
Desirable experience:
- Master's or higher level degree will be advantageous.
- Model View Controller pattern (e.g. ASP.NET MVC, Ruby on Rails)
- User experience design and accessibility
