Senior C++ Developer - Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai
My client is a Silicon Valley Venture Capital-backed and leading software house developing a cutting-edge financial technology platform. This platform provides intelligent financial information to trading floors of Investment Banks and Hedgefunds across the globe.
They are seeking a Senior C++ software developer experienced in multithreaded hands-on development, preferably from the financial services domain. You will join the team to build risk and pricing systems, market data applications and strategy and control systems.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a broad and in-depth knowledge or experience in some of the following:
-Excellent C++ development skills (Unix/Windows)
-Scripting languages (e.g., Excel VBA, Python, Perl, JavaScript)
-Distributed Computing, Computer Networking, or Functional Programming
-Experience in Financial software development
-Work Experience in startup companies
-DBA (MYSQL, Oracle)
-Degree from top graduate or undergraduate programs in related subject
-95%+ score in standardized tests, such as GRE, GMAT
-Demonstrated ability of leadership and innovation
It will also be helpful if you are familiar with threading and concurrency. Experience in C/C++, C#, dynamic languages like Python and Perl scripting, and alternative JVM languages like Scala and Groovy is a distinct advantage. Successful candidates should be comfortable working in an agile environment, with extensive reliance on automated testing and continuous integration.
