Senior C++ Exchange Connectivity Developer recruitment
My clients growth rate is evident from their connectivity to a number of the largest electronic exchanges worldwide including those in the USA, Asia, Germany, England, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Spain and Australia. Their client base ranges from the largest international banks and brokerage firms to intermediate and small market makers and security trading firms. Their development staff in their offices in USA, Germany, Singapore and India, designs and implements new products, features and enhancements for their systems and solutions. All their development efforts follows modern Agile SCRUM methodologies. Using that, their international gateway development teams create gateways to currently more than 130 global exchanges and execution venues, among other solutions.
Selected candidates would be responsible for:
- Working with the connectivity team, and design and develop low-latency, high frequency trading systems for all electronically-traded asset classes in a Linux and Solaris environment using primarily C++
- Using object-oriented design principles, and formal design patterns, build software that is maintainable, reusable, extensible and interoperates seamlessly with their current and future architectures
- Investigating new software tools, technologies and industry best practices, to further understand electronic markets, electronic trading and financial instruments
To be shortlisted for the role, you would have:
- Good AGILE development skills with the inherent ability to get involved in challenging tasks
- Excellent technical skills in C++, FIX, TCP/IP, multicast, multi-threaded and low-level (socket) programming on UNIX
- Good functional understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) and Exchange Connectivity
- Proven ability to scrape off microseconds in execution time while developing low-latency middleware for exchange trading and / or market data interfaces
