Senior C++ Software Engineer wanted for front office role within a market leading exchange.
This is quite possibly the best C++ role in the city at the moment and offers the successful candidate the chance to work on a leading European exchange, working on extremely complex and technically challenging real-time trading platforms.
The successful candidate will have a key hand in shaping the future direction of the trading platform and will work with a highly talented team on a variety of projects in order to keep the platform at the bleeding edge of technical innovation.
Duties and responsibilities include
-working on latency sensitive components including order entry systems, matching logic etc.
-Perform in-depth performance measurement of critical system pieces and drive consensus company-wide for improvement.
-Design, engineer and test highly reliable services to support the trading operation.
-Manage complex projects which may involve multiple systems and other developers in both London and the US.
The successful candidate will have
-Exceptionally strong C++ knowledge.
-Knowledge of network programming, debugging and diagnostics.
-Extreme attention to detail.
-Basic, but broad knowledge of algorithms and data structures
-Deep knowledge in multiple relevant financial areas.
-Strong SQL Background including performance analysis and optimisation.
