Senior C# WPF SQL 2008 Analyst Programmer with Java - FX - Canary Wharf

A leader in the FX trading and settlement field based in Canary Wharf is seeking a new C# Analyst Programmer to join their business focussed development team.

The company have both Java and C# development teams worldwide are now seeking a C# Developer with some Java skills or a background in Java to help them in their strategy to align their systems globally. Their C# team in London is predominantly made up of Silverlight developers using SQL Server 2008 - they are not looking to stay with Silverlight and are hoping to move into a more sustainable space.

The firm don't have their developers working on a trading floor and describe themselves to be more of a technical company and with this role in particular they are seeking a C# Developer with a Java Background who wants to get involved in design and architecture of their new systems. The speed and efficiency of their systems are the most important.

They use WCF and WPF having moved on from Winforms. The systems are high performance applications and developers who are seeking an environment where they can challenge the processes and come up with new ideas of the strategy and shape of each and every project.

This Senior C# WPF SQL 2008 Analyst Programmer with Java will need the following skills:

Experience in a trading environment or high transactional environment
* C# development
* Exposure to Winforms or WCF, WPF
* Current or background in Java
* SQL 2008
* Full life cycle development
* Passion for strategy and shaping Products
* Excellent Communication.
