Senior Cash Equities Product Control recruitment
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to manage a Cash Equities Control team within a well-established global bank reporting into the Director of Product Control.
The role will involve the candidate liaising with various key stakeholders to quickly resolve issues and work closely with traders to assist them capturing trading activity in the most efficient and informed manner. There is a great opportunity to 'add-value' as the role will ensure operational effectiveness through the review or completion of several key financial controls and disclosures. Liaison with Front office, Middle Office, Operations and Finance will play a key part of the role not just in the UK but with global offices in New York and Sydney. Supervision of 2 direct reports will be one of the key elements of the role as well as assisting with the supervision of other team members. There will be opportunities available to play the lead role on specific projects within this bank.
You should be currently working within a bank with cash or equities products in a product control or middle office role. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a strong quantitative degree. Superb communication and numerical skills will also be beneficial.
