My client, a leading innovative High Performance Computing group within a Leading Technical Software House are looking for a strong C-C++ Software Engineer to join their London based team, focusing on high-performance networking, low latency highest throughput solutions for financial services. This particular group is well known for the development and delivery of High Performance Computing solutions. The technology used is apart of the Fortune 500 companies across the world. The firm has a very collaborative culture and thus it will be important that you can bring experience to the table, hit the ground running and interface well with all.
Essentially, my client are looking for a High Performance Networking C-C++ Developer to work on their Greenfield networking solutions. The role of the High Performance Networking C-C++ Developer will be to deliver low latency, high throughput solutions. The role requires a strong understanding high performance networking with Linux.
Skills Required for Senior C-C++ Software Engineer, High Performance Networking:
-High performance software development in C or C++.
-Networking (TCP-IP-UDP)
-Linux
-Detailed knowledge of computer architecture.
-Computer architecture - digital circuit design.
-Experience with networking, including excellent knowledge of Ethernet, TCP-IP and associated protocols.
-Networked application development, using POSIX sockets with Linux.
Responsibilities for C-C++ Software Engineer, High Performance Networking:
-Strive to achieve lowest latency
-Utilise networks and system programming to reduce the latency of the system
-Functional-None Functional Analysis and Development.
-Distribution of Software
